After Beam Time

Before you Leave:

• Please prepare your dewar or equipment for return shipment:

• If shipping a dewar, leave nitrogen in dewar, this will be drained by an Operator prior to shipment.

• If equipment, please pack and secure packaging so that it is ready to ship (i.e. lock handles and tape box).

• Complete a Fed Ex or Airborne Express shipping ticket with your account information.  If you do not have this information, in the reference section of the shipping slip, please indicate your proposal number.

• If equipment, please make sure you declare a value.

• Leave the dewar or equipment in the CHESS Operations Area and notify the CHESS Operator that it is ready for shipment.  Please advise us if there are any issues with the shipment.

• You will receive via email from Katy Dedrick, Facility User Officer, confirmation that your package has shipped along with a tracking number.

• If you have any questions about shipping from CHESS please contact Kathy Dedrick.

• Complete and return the User Feedback Form, your feedback is very important to us and is reviewed on a weekly basis.

After you Leave:

• If you had forgotten to fill out the User Feedback Form please do it now.

• Please remember to acknowledge CHESS in your future publications.
