Personal Protective Equipment

The CHESS Safety Committee has reviewed and approved your experiment and whatever materials you may be bringing with you.

If your experiment should require special procedures, such as working with cryogens, hazardous or biohazardous materials, consult the CHESS Operator for specific instructions on standard operating procedures and related safety training and equipment.

CHESS has a limited number of basic personal protective equipment for loan such as; face shields, lab coats, gloves and safety glasses. The LNS stockroom has basic personal protective equipment available for purchase if there is none available for loan. It is your responsibility to bring specialized equipment with you.
