Employer Posting, Building Design and General Work Environment

According to OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910 Occupational and Health Safety Standards, CHESS has an obligation to its employees to provide a safe general work environment, including:

  • Signs that indicate exits, fire alarm boxes, extinguishers, eyewash stations and first aid kits.

  • An active health and safety program.

  • Adequate access to medical service and first aid.

  • A clean and safe work environment.
