CHESS has a computer room where users can make temporary use of Linux, Windows, and Macintosh computers. MacCHESS users also have access to Alpha workstations for data processing.
Users will be given a generic login/password account in the "User Information Packet" at sign-in.
For security purposes, CHESS computers are protected by Virus Protection software and the entire network is protected by a firewall. Users who need further information about network security or want to bring their own computers into the lab should make arrangements prior to your arrival by contacting Phil Sorensen, or Marian Szebenyi if a MacCHESS user.
