A2 is a general purpose station sometimes used for recording diffraction from macromolecular crystals.
A2 features an undulator source and a choice of monochromatic beam produced by a tunable monochomator and white beam. Beamline specifications are given here. The station has been used for experiments including:
Monitoring radiation damage in protein crystals using Laue diffraction.
Collecting diffuse scattering data.
Preliminary tests of setup for serial crystallography.
