MacCHESS: A2 station

A2 is a general purpose station sometimes used for recording diffraction from macromolecular crystals.

A2 features an undulator source and a choice of monochromatic beam produced by a tunable monochomator and white beam. <link to CHESS A2 page> The station has been used for experiments including:

  • Monitoring radiation damage in protein crystals using Laue diffraction <link to Laue-at-A2 page>

  • Collecting diffuse scattering data <link to diffuse scattering page>

  • Preliminary tests of setup for serial crystallography
