MacCHESS: F1 station

The F1 station is the first choice for most experiments using macromolecular crystallography (MX) at CHESS. It is fully equipped with an air bearing-based goniometer, Pilatus 6M detector, and BAM-2 automounter. The X-ray energy is suitable for producing good Se-SAD data. Remote data collection is supported.

F1 beamline specifications are suitable for collecting excellent quality data from macromolecular crystals in the 20-200 µm size range.

A number of amenities  are available to improve your data collection experience.

A BAM-2 automounter is permanently installed, for both local and remote usage.
