Tours of the Wilson Laboratory are available and free to the public. Highlights include climbing into the Cornell Electron Storage Ring (CESR) control room, the synchrotron tunnel, CHESS operations, X-ray hutches, and the Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) prototype.

Visitors to our laboratory enjoy being immersed in the culture of science in the context of a world-class research facility. Xraise invites the public into a behind-the-scenes look at scientists and their apparati while experiments are underway—literally witnessing science history in the making.

Hourly tours of Wilson Laboratory are available on most Tuesday mornings to groups ranging from high school students to physicists visiting from other research sites. Tours are free. Metered parking is available at Friedman Wrestling Center which is located near Wilson Laboratory.
