Rapid Access proposals and BTR submissions are accepted after the proposal submission deadline and throughout the upcoming run for the following beamlines:
What you need to know:
- Proposals and BTRs for Rapid Access to BioSAXS and FlexX beamlines can be submitted past the regular submission deadline and during the current run.
- Experiments should align with the research focus of chosen beamline.
- Scheduled requests are typically short, less than 6 shifts.
- Samples must be available on short notice.
- Beam time becomes available for Rapid Access submissions every month.
- Proposals are peer-reviewed within two weeks of submission.
- Beam time allocation is based on committee review.
NOTE: If you have an active proposal, unless the scope of your research has changed, there is no need to submit a new proposal. A Proposal or BTR can be submitted by logging into BeamPASS and clicking the green "Start a New Beam time Request" button. You'll select your active proposals under the "Project" dropdown menu.
