The Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) invites all scientists, researchers, post-docs, and students to submit posters for the Poster Session to be held during the Annual User Meeting.
Posters that present research based to a significant extent on work performed at CHESS are eligible for a prize. See details below (CHESS Poster Award).

POSTER SIZE:
You are given a maximum space of 100 cm (39.4 inches) wide x 120 cm (47.2 inches) high to mount your poster. It is strongly recommended that the poster be printed on an A0 page (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm) or US Arch E page (36 in x 48 in) in PORTRAIT orientation. The conference organizers will provide the supplies necessary for mounting the posters.
POSTER PREPARATION:
All illustrations, charts, and textual material to be posted must be prepared and printed in advance of the meeting. CHESS is not able to print your poster for the meeting.
POSTER PRINTING:
Please contact the Cornell Print Shop prior to the meeting if you need your poster printed at Cornell. The print shop will need a few days to print your poster: https://printservices.cornell.edu/
POSTER SET UP:
All posters must arrive for setup at the Physical Sciences Building between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. A supply of poster clips and push pins will be available in the poster set-up area. Matte board and poster board will not be available. Entrants are responsible for their posters and should be available during the Poster Session to answer questions about their work.
POSTER SESSION:
The Poster Session will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, time TBD.
POSTER CONTEST:
A contest for all posters submitted will be held. The best poster in each of two categories (scientific and technical) will receive an award. Awards will be presented at the evening banquet dinner. See details below (CHESS Poster Award).
POSTER REMOVAL:
The winning posters will be removed by the User Office for placement at CHESS. If you do not wish us to keep the poster, the winners should be prepared to provide a PDF of the poster so that we may print it.
All other poster materials must be taken down at the end of the session.
The CHESS Poster Awards recognize outstanding poster presentations during the CHESS User Meeting based on research performed at CHESS. To be eligible for the 2024 CHESS Poster Awards, the research presented on the poster must be based to a significant extent on work performed at CHESS. Poster titles can be submitted through the registration page.

The selection committee consists of representatives from CHESS Staff, the Users' Executive Committee, and External Advisory Committee.
