The Center for High-Energy X-ray Sciences at CHESS (CHEXS @ CHESS) includes several beamlines optimized for high-energy X-ray science in biological sciences, engineering and materials research.
The NSF funding is provided by the Division of Materials Research, the Directorate of Biological Sciences and the Directorate of Engineering.
Advances in synchrotron instrumentation and techniques developed by the CHEXS scientific and technical staff as well as the scientific advances made by CHEXS users both contribute to the intellectual merit of CHEXS.
