In addition to running the User Office, Megan will be leading the coordination of our Summer Programs which brings in students from across the United States, and Sam will be coordinating our Public Outreach efforts.
Starting in January 2020, users can expect changes that will enhance their experience here at CHESS. Megan and Sam are already working on strategies and updates to make the check-in process even more efficient so that our users can get to their beam lines as quickly as possible. One thing both Megan and Sam are passionate about is reducing the amount of paper waste in the CHESS User Office - they are going green!
Megan is excited to return to the User Office in her new administrator role. She is looking forward to making a fresh experience for new and returning users in this capacity
Sam is also excited to move into an administrator role here at CHESS and put her event and guest management knowledge to work to update our outreach efforts and enhance our conference facilitation. Preparations for the 2020 Users Meeting is already underway!
